Happy New Year – 2023
Community Outreach Alliance wants to thank everyone who helped us during our transitions last year and continued to support us, volunteer and give their time to help our programs continue to grow and flourish. We are excited for what the future holds. We have a strong team of dedicated board members, advisory committee, volunteers and amazing support from the community. We have some big plans for the future to help reach more people and help share community resources.
Through Food Connection, we continue to strive towards our goal of helping to feed and care for more people. We help serve food to hundreds of local families, seniors and military families.
Through our music outreach program, COA Entertainment, many youth and young adults are able to flourish and share their passion of music. Because of our music outreach program we can share about the resources available in the community with those we partner with that have similar goals.
We are also so thankful for all our monthly donors who help us maintain our weekly COA Food Connection and COA Entertainment activities so we can help more people. We need your help to make sure we can continue to help the community. Together we can make a big difference with local families, military, seniors and veterans.
Giving back to the community
Thank you to everyone who helped donate toys to COA’s Toy Drive. We had a successful Toy Drive and were able to help distribute toys to many happy families.
Puttin on the Glitz fun
Thank you to those who stopped by our booth at Puttin on the Glitz Downtown December 3rd. Many helped with creating a booth that was all lit up and as a fundraiser had a raffle for 4 baskets. COA Posters were setting at different places to share community resources.
We had so much fun at the event listening to the COA Entertainment performers across from us and mingling with the community.
The winners of the raffle drawings were Sharla B. for the Oster Roaster Oven, Celia won the Cooking Basket, Christina won the Toy Basket, Bridgette won the Wine Basket. All raffle items were hand delivered to our winners and thanked in person.
