Community Outreach Alliance (COA) is excited to announce our new Monthly 2nd Saturday Food Distributions, bringing even more support, wellness, and community care to families across San Clemente and South Orange County.
Starting this month, our food distribution events will now take place every 2nd Saturday of the month, making it easier for local families, seniors, military members, and individuals in need to access fresh groceries, essential supplies, and now—free health support.
Our next event will be held on:
Saturday, May 16th
This special community event combines our trusted food distribution program with our growing wellness mission by bringing doctors onsite from SKE Health to provide free health guidance, answer questions, and offer wellness exams for attendees.
Because we believe healthy communities need both food and care.
Food + Wellness = Stronger Communities
For years, COA Food Connection has helped provide free groceries and essential resources to hundreds of local families throughout South Orange County. But true wellness goes beyond food.
That’s why our Wellness Program continues to grow—helping bridge the gap between nutrition, preventive care, and community support.
With healthcare professionals from SKE Health onsite during our monthly food distributions, community members can:
- Ask health and wellness questions
- Receive basic wellness exams
- Learn about preventive care
- Get support navigating health concerns
- Connect with trusted medical professionals in a welcoming environment
This creates a safe and accessible way for families to receive support without barriers.
Why This Matters
Many families facing food insecurity are also navigating health challenges, stress, and limited access to regular medical care.
By combining food distribution with wellness services, COA helps remove those barriers and creates a more complete support system for our community.
This is exactly what our Wellness Program is designed to do—serve the whole person, not just one immediate need.
From nutritious food access to preventive healthcare, we are building healthier lives together.
