She has always had a passion and love for the arts, but her love for the arts is just one part of her life story.
At the age of 11, she lost her father to cancer, shortly after she lost her grandmother and in 2008 she lost 8 classmates in her senior year to drinking and driving. Later in 2010, she lost her childhood best friend because of a drunk driver. During her traumas and heartache, she has always tried to look for the light, and a big part of her light has always been volunteering in the community and mentoring the youth.
Today, Monica is a mother to a beautiful 2-year-old daughter, a wife to a Marine, she is on the board for the i5 Freedom Network plus their marketing director as well as part of the San Clemente Juniors Woman’s Club and a content writer for The Cellar downtown.
In her spare time, she is writing her tell-all book which she hopes to available later in the year of 2020 and she also promotes her Documentary Playdolls which has already been picked up to premiere at Sundance Film Festival 2020. Monica is eager to work with our youth and takes the role of a mentor very seriously.
