Overview: 2019

Here’s to an Awesome 2019!

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season celebrating with family and friends. So important for us to reflect all the good things with in our familial circle and to visit with our closest of friends.

What a phenomenal year COA has had. Our Team was challenged in so many ways and in spite of those challenges, we exceeded expectations. As we close 2019 and head into the new decade of 2020, our board is focused, energized and committed as an organization and feel confident in our path towards continue to growth and exceeding expectations.

Our foundation is solid. Our Board members have taken full ownership of their respective areas. The Food Connection, led by Molly Flores, COA Entertainment led by Joani Angeli, Thrive Alive, led by Teri Steel, have kept our ship successfully sailing. Some of our recent successes has been our newly formed alliance with the Bahai Center.  We have had various activities in the past two months i.e., Thrive Alive, Open Mic Night, Guitar and Piano lessons.  We are transitioning our Food Connection to this location as a result of a great match for this and many COA activities. Final transition is January 15th and is on schedule. The Baha’i Center has welcomed us with open arms to collectively help serve our community.

COA has been very fortunate in receiving new grants this past year and has planted new seeds outside of San Clemente, specifically, the City of Mission Viejo. We believe 2020 will be a pivotal year not only for COA but for our community. We will be agressively applying for new grants throughout the year to ensure sustainability. Our Thrive Alive Program is now trademarked and will continue to open new doors for COA. Can you say, WOW?

On behalf of the COA Board, we thank you for your continued support and for being part of the solution for many of our youth and senior members of our community Also, we are very appreciative of the support from our donors and sponsors, as well as our community partners. A special thank you to Stego Industries, our Founding Sponsor. We could not have done all this without them! Thank you, again!

Wishing you ALL a Happy New Year to you and Yours,

Blessings,

Ed Molina, CEO
